About UsLiving Heritage, formerly Mark Anthony Fairs, began by organising Antique and Collectors Fairs. A Queens Jubilee fair was the first in June 1977. Craft Fairs followed in 1980, operation was quite simple at the time, with all of the kit fitting into the back of a couple of transit vans. The first outdoor Craft Show was at Blake Hall, Essex in 1984. We then started to buy our own marquees and we have continued to re-invest in the company. Our country fairs started in the 1980's, the first being at Himley Hall. The company also operated as a marquee hire company from 1998 to 2005, developing a good client base, The National Caravan Rally, Inland Waterways Festival, Pembrokeshire Show, Gillingham Shaftbury Show and Frome Cheese Show to name but a few. The hire business was terminated early in 2006 to concentrate on the development of the Living Heritage series of Game and Country Fairs and that just about brings up to date, with our fairs going from strength to strength. |
