Game to Eat – whose slogan is ‘a campaign dedicated to raising awareness and increasing our enjoyment of British wild game’ – has announced Continued sponsorship as title supporter for Food Glorious Food at Living Heritage’s Game and Country Fairs throughout 2010. Organisers' Living Heritage is delighted with the association as much of the emphasis at their shows has been to raise awareness of the delights of the countryside for all. The support will allow for demonstrations showing how to prepare and cook both pheasant and venison by top UK chefs in the food theatre at all the events in 2010. Interest in game has risen sharply over the past few years and its popularity is riding high. This will be an opportunity to provide more information (recipe booklets) and wonderful live cooking shows with audience participation and enjoyment. The theatre forms part of a larger food arena at the fairs with local restaurants providing quality regional food and demonstration showcases. Sample plates for each will be available on the day.
