Simon Goodman

Simon is head chef at The Duke of Cumberland Arms - a small, traditional pub with a loyal following of both drinkers and diners - I try to use as much produce from the abundant local area as possible.  Cooking with meat from nearby organic farms and fish fresh from the south coast - as well as the pub's own trout ponds - the emphasis at The Duke is on simple, delicious, rustic dishes.  With ten years experience as a head chef and two times winner of the Pub Chef of the Year competition I am convinced that this is the sort of food that will continue to pull people into our precious local pubs.
