Alan Coxon "The Food Archaeologist" has established a reputation as one of the world’s favourite TV chefs and presenters, with exceptional culinary talent and an unparalleled knowledge for the earliest origins of ingredients. His dishes have the rare quality of being both stunning, yet easy to recreate at home.
Game-to-eat Chef Tony Robertson has developed thousands of recipes, product promotions and concepts over the years. Along with setting up and running kitchens at events, Tony is a "game-to-eat" chef and is involved in a number of live stage cooking demonstrations to raise awareness about the versatility of game and how it fits into a more 'healthy diet' we are all looking for. Joining Tony on stage will be up and talented young chefs from the Warrington Academy.
Simon Spindleys who still lives in East Yorkshire today & who is passionate about local produce cooked well. He is keen to encourage more people to experience the joy of eating good quality, locally sourced, home cooked food. Simon appeared on MasterChef in 2006 & his gutsy recipes & big flavours earned him a place in the Quarter Finals. He is always happiest when cooking for family, friends & his harshest critics – his wife & their two children.
Marie Taylor is passionate about using, cooking and understanding the value of locally sourced food. Her greatest love is cooking and presenting delicious meals made from the produce of the countryside. Simon Whitehead, (Pakefield Ferrets) a local warrener and friend is an established exponent of ferreting and rabbit control and Marie has opened his eyes to the value this delicious meat offers. Marie will be demonstrating 'Cooking with Rabbits' at several of Living Heritage's fairs in 2011.
