NewsCarrilon - Fly Casting Competition set for ThameApr 6, 2012Carrilon will be running there UK Fly Casting Competition at a number of Living Heritage Game and Country Fairs. The competition is unique in that it is more challenging than its alternative fly casting competitions of distance casting and in-line hoop-to-hoop accuracy events. In this event candidates cast at 5 targets around a course, that proficient fly fisherman would expect to use in actual fishing situations. They will provide 3 Prizes per Day for the Competition and local members of the S&TA/GAIA also offer tuition and help & advice.
