Thoresby Lurcher and Terrier start the year with a bang

Thoresby Country & Craft Fair starts the season with a bang!

Thank you to all our followers who turned out for our first show of the season and what a cracking start!

Racing entries exceeded all expectations, and our new for 2012 rough lurcher categories offered many extra chances to qualify for our finals which will be held at Sandringham Game and Country Fair in September. Racing Prize money of course includes the REDMILLS sponsorship totalling £1100.

Congratulations to all our racing winners including:

Lesley Edwards with Holy, Vicki Grocock with Acid and Secret, Emma Creed with Duke, Peter Slater with Louis, Helen Hulland with Lucy and Roman, Chris Hill with Bella, Sue Linger with Pagan, Ian Fisher with Storm

Our new for 2012 Terrier Racing, Pocket Rocket stakes, sponsored by Living Heritage, are off to a great start and are open to any breed of terrrier who would like to participate. Remember you have to be in it to win it! £100 is up for grabs at the end of the season.

Congratulation’s to Emma Creed with Albert, Harry Pilgrim with Midge and S Maxfield with Pig who are our first to qualify. 

Our showing season is also off to a fine start.

Lurcher Best in Show winners include:

Geoff Lowe with Murphy, Darren McMahon with Davey, Lesley Edwards with Holly and Vicki Grocock with Summer.

Junior Handler winners include Charly Gibson, Finley Gerrard and Corey Gerrard.

Terrier Best in Show winners include:

Fiona McPherson with Piper and Tony Kettle with Misty.

Our showing Championship finals sponsored by Living Heritage will be taking place at The Hertfordshire Country Fair on 6^th and 7^th October.
