Thoresby Park Country and Craft Fair - Held at the Thoresby Park with the stunning backdrop of Thoresby Hall Hotel
A beautiful setting for a popular Craft Show but now for those of you who wish to get out and about before Easter we are going to promote a joint event. This date traditionally our spring Craft Fair at Thoresby Park, but we are going to add the Andy Singleton Arena, trade stands and various other country show attractions.
Regulars will recognise these as major elements of our Country Fairs. They will combine with the regular spring Craft and Food Fair to bring you the best of both worlds in Craft and Country

Living Heritage hold a number of dog events and demonstrations at the Fairs, with something to interest every dog owner whether it be seeking advice, watching specialist demonstrations or entering your pet dog into the Fun Dog Show.
For the more competitive and professional there are pedigree Dog Shows, Lurcher Racing, Chase The Bunny (fun), Working Tests and The Gundog Multiscurry.

Horses have been a been a vital part of country life as a means of transportation and work force. They are still used today to work in the most dense and difficult conditions.
These demonstrations can be seen in the specialist arena. Other types of horse are used for competitions such as scurry racing and mounted games, which can be seen in the main arena.

Target Field Sports are traditionally associated with hunting and / or pest control, although nowadays most of these sports are simply done for fun.
At Living Heritage Game and Country Fairs all that attend are welcome to come have have a go at all of the target sports on offer. As well as beginners, those that are more experienced can enter the series of competitions. (see local press for details)

At our Country Fairs " Crafts " have always been present as a Craft Marquee, this has developed over the years to a Craft Village. This section of the Show has evolved to include specialist demonstrations such as Glass Blowing, Rural Skills, Blacksmiths, Chainsaw Carving and a potters wheel to name a few.

Our extensive grounds cover over 1000 acres of rich unspoilt English countryside, with a range of facilities and attractions open to the public all year round. Opening times are from 9.00am until 5.00pm, admission is free, plenty of car parking and there is disabled access.
